Clash Of The Titans Well, as a huge fan of the Ray Harryhausen original, I can only hope this one doesn't suck. Yeah, the stop-motion
animation of the original isn't flashy by today's standards but it gave original a look distinctive to the Harryhausen films.
That said the fact they made this for 3D is pretty cool. Even if it's gonna rely on all tricks and gloss that come with 3D.
This type of action/adventure flic is perfect for the 3D medium. Some movies definately don't need it and one can only hope
that shitty movies still get thrown to the wayside even if they're in 3D!!!

Iron Man 2 Robert Downey, Jr. and Mickey Rouke are both on a roll as of late and throw in Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle
(replacing Trent Howard) and of course Gwyneth Paltrow and Jon Favreau is set to give us a bigger and better sequel! The first
one was a comic to film bonanza. Enough to keep the snobs happy and enought to get new fans jazzed about Iron Man. If Christopher
Nolan's Batman has been the gold standard for storytelling and artistic vision in comic book films then, Favreau's is the
blue-collar take on superheroes. He makes enjoyable action-laden romps. All the while giving us A list actors doing something
for the fun of it. Sometimes we'd like to entertained by a GREAT movie and Jon Favreau's got a great track record of doing
so!!!!!!

Nightmare On Elm Street Opening on April 30th these horror remakes spurred by Michael Bay are getting out of hand. He's had his hands
on the Texas Chainsaw and Friday the 13th reboots and now Nightmare. The Chainsaw retells were SHITTY to say the least. Friday
the 13th was at least passable as popcorn-munching horror flic. Hopefully, Bay and company don't ruin Freddy as well. The
first three original Nightmares are horror classics and made Robert Englund a superstar. Let's not forget that New Line Cinema
is often referred to as "The House That Freddy Built". As a huge Horror movie fan, I hope Freddy's good name doesn't
get sullied! Thank god, Rob Zombie handled the Halloweens because at the very LEAST a true fan of horror fan got to sink his
hooks into it.

Kick-Ass Common teenagers and few adults as everyday "super" heroes. Yeah, this has been done before but Mystery
Men sucked! Kick-Ass looks to buck that trend and give us flawed, but ultimately funny everyday Joes masquerading as heroes.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse gets another turn as an akward teenager as Kick-Ass' buddy Red Mist. Yeah, this is getting to be
old hat for him, but that kid singlehandedly made Superbad a hell of a lot of fun! Aaron Johnson a relative unkown gets the
shot a Kick-Ass and early trailers and screenings show him and Mintz-Plasse have a great on screen give and take as the bumbling
heroes!
