This is the most EXCITING sequel news in a long time. F.E.A.R. 3 is coming!!!!!
After a a huge legal battle between Sierra Games and Warner Brothers Games we got F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, which is
great because worst case scenario we would've had F.E.A.R 2 by Warner Brothers and Project Origin by Sierra both set in the
FEAR universe, but both OPERATING seperately from each other which would've been idiotic to say the least! Anyways, F.E.A.R.
3 will hit this fall/winter. I've got to imagine that it'll come before HALO: Reach because NO ONE wants to go toe-to-toe
with that juggernaut. For those who've not partaken in the FEAR, it's a stellar blend of action/horror that's heavy on the
atmosphere and uses "bullet time" better than any other game not named Max Payne. I can't wait for what should be
the final chapter in F.E.A.R.!!! http://www.whatisfear.com

Dark Cloud on the PS2 is one of the most sublime action/rpg/world builder
games ever made. The genius' at Level 5 Studios gave us a well crafted blend of gaming genre staples. From leveling your abilities
as well as turning crappy entry level weapons into implements that casue pure havoc Dark Cloud is a brilliant take on the
classic action/rpg lotting and leveling grind. The randomly generated dungeons yield parts of your overworld an the inhabitants
of each village have specific requests as to the placement of their cottages. I could go on and on, but if you still use your
PS2 you should do your self a favor and track down Dark Cloud. I'm replaying it for about the 10th time which is no small
feat considering an average playthrough will take about 50 hours! There's a lot of bang for your gaming buck and it's wierd
there's been no sequel talk as Sony set this up to be their Zelda. Let's hope there'e something on the horizon for a Dark
Cloud 3!!!

Well, Just Cause 2 is little more than a fancy explosion simulator. The game
is huge and there's TONS to do and see on the fictional island of Panau but those expecting a game capable of the feats GTA
or Saints Row may disappointed. It's not that Just Cause 2 is bad it's not. However, there's not a lot of depth to be had.
There's nothing wrong with pure action, but it really feels like JC2 is just a step-up from Mercenaries 2. In fact it
shares the same story and set-up arc; USA out for oil in a land torn apart by rival factions of leftists, mafia, corrupt government
officials, etc. The protagonist, Rico Rodriguez is nimble with his grappling hook moves, parachuting from location to location
and stunt moves atop ANY vehicle, but while the gloss is impressive the guts fail to deliver anything beyond explosions and
fancified platforming. Story be damned, Just Cause 2 is an awesome explosion sim and little else. There's fun to be had but
only in small doses.
